Hi Nick...I'm on a bit of a mission. My girlfriend turns the big 5-0 in August. Her dad was a drummer in 50's and 60's and played at the 2i's coffee bar. It has been said that he played with Rory Blackwell, Johnny Kidd , Georgie Fame and possibly even Emile Ford. His name was Alan Fox but he went by the stage name of Scott Yangtze. Unfortunately Alan died in 1978 after complications with MS. My girlfriend has very few memories of him and would dearly love to speak to people who knew him... Obviously time is running out coz none of us are getting any younger. Is he someone you would remember or would you know of anyone who would have been around the 2i's at that time that we could speak to?... Thanks in advance and it's great to see you still out there doing it. Rock n roll is obviously in your blood. Thanks again Smudge p.s I ask everybody this but did you ever play the Half Moon in Putney?
