I understand that you don't get any royalties off the FIRST 3 ALBUMS. What about the "new releases"... live concerts ect??? I see that the first 3 albums have been reissued WITH BONUS TRACKS. Before we buy any of them; DO YOU GET ANYTHING OFF THE SALES OR DOES THE MONEY FLOW TO GILLAN,PACE AND BLACKMORE? If they do we will refuse to buy ANY OF THEM. This is because of the way you and Rod were treated...And also because of the "Bogus 1980 Deep Purple" controversy...We recently saw a video from mexico with Rod singing "Smoke on the water". It was not as bad as we were lead to believe! Hell it sounds as bad as gillen singing "Hush" What do you think of the latest version carrying the name WITH ONLY ONE ORIGINAL MEMBER? DOES THAT MEAN THE 1980 LAWSUIT'S INTERPRETATION COULD STOP PACE FROM USING THE NAME?

Hi Nick, You mentioned having the priviledge of working with one of the greatest drummers Mac Poole. Sadly Mac has seen a return of his cancer & is not able to do many gigs right now. There is to be a benefit night for Mac, which he will attend, on Friday 14th May 2010 at Harrow Borough Football Club. Earlsmead. South Harrow HA2 8SS. Would be nice to see you there or spread the word please! Further info. Gavin Barnet 07745355733 Many thanks! Play on ! Kate.

Hi Nick and sorry to be taking business onto your website but anyway... we are very interested in making a licence proposal to distribute the Warhorse catalogue in Europe, however I have made repeated requests to EMI Publishing (who previously claimed to own the recordings), none of which have elicited any response. Do you happen to know who owns these recordings, or whether they have perhaps now reverted to the band? Any information you can provide (via the attached email address) would be gratefully received - Best wishes, Nick Berry

Hello Nick, I'm a promoter from Brazil and would like to do some dates with you, in June. Could you contact me through this email so we can deal this possibility and can I explain the project? Regards.

Hola Nick Simper! Solamente queria pasar por tu pagina web y decir que soy un fanatico de Deep Purple, (sobre todo la primera alineacion) lastima que solo grabaron tres albumes ya que Rod Evans tenia una gran voz y tú eres un excelente bajista. Saludos. Jerson Majin - Colombia (South America) -

Hello Nick and Wymer UK. I put a message on the board a month ago and still want to see Nick Simper in the U.S. with either Nasty Habits or the Good Ole Boys. I am in the process of finding a decent promoter. It is taking a while as I am not in the business as such; I am a college professor but have been a fan of Nick's for years and followed his career through Fandango and Quartermass II. Right now, I am listening to Chasing Shadows. This bass line really is a GAS.

Hi Nick It was really good to hear from you last night; a fantastically amusing phone conversation although I’d better not say what we had a laugh about! Cheered me up no end. Excellent idea for people to meet up on the 40th anniversary of Warhorse’s first album even though my musical interests are now in classical and jazz music. As you said, we may not all be around by the 50th! A curry house seems to obvious place, but wherever... Unfortunately, I can’t make Chris’s funeral next week. If you find yourself anywhere near where I live give me a ring on the mobile and drop round.

Hello Nick, We've not met but have someone in common: Geoffrey Glover-Wright aka Buddy Britten. I played drums with him, on Jersey and in Dubai, when he was Simon Raverne. All the best, Martin http://www.myspace.com/martinhsamuel

You left me out of your bio! I can remember putting bits of string on a tea-chest at your place and trying to play bass! My old Dad would have turned in his grave! How are you, mate?
